FontXify is a browser extension that changes the fonts displayed on websites you visit. This policy explains exactly what data the extension handles.
FontXify saves the following using Chrome's built-in extension storage:
chrome.storage.sync, which Chrome may sync across your own signed-in devices via your Google account. They are never sent to the developer.chrome.storage.local on your device to avoid re-downloading. This never leaves your device. You can clear all of this at any time by removing the extension.
When you apply a Google font, the extension requests that font from Google's public Google Fonts service:
https://fonts.googleapis.com and https://fonts.gstatic.com — to download the font's stylesheet and font files.https://fonts.google.com/metadata/fonts — to download the list of available font families. These requests include the requested font name and standard request metadata (such as your IP address), which Google receives as the service provider. This is the same data any website using Google Fonts would send. FontXify sends no other information, and sends nothing about the pages you visit. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
FontXify applies fonts by injecting a stylesheet into the pages you visit. It does not read, collect, store, or transmit the content of the pages you visit. The host permission is used solely to apply your chosen font styling.
